This is wild. The man still has game, good game

He definitely does. I think it's just like Datsyuk and playing at a high level.

Very interesting decision by Krejci.

Would have played a 1000 games if he stayed in the NHL one more year

Hate the Bruins, but it's a shame he won't hit 1k. One more season would have done it.

Chara's already gone, but he's probably next. Then Rask or Bergeron perhaps. I see Marchand being the last one standing.

Maybe the weren’t going to resign him. Didn’t want to play for another NHL team?

He could’ve gotten a contract from 32 NHL teams but I think he wanted his kids to experience living in Europe, in Czech Republic.

Think of it this way, they get to become close with David’s side of the family, learn a new language and way of living.

Respect. He made quite the career and has the chance to play some hockey back home, healty and out of his own choice. Gotta love that.

With Krejci gone, only Bergeron, Marchand and Rask (assuming he re-signs) remain from that 2011 team.

Marchand can retire anytime. IMO I don't think many Canucks fans would shed a tear about that
