Doh.

What is the comparable that Dickinson can get?

Good question but He can still sign before his hearing. I’m guessing somewhere between 2-3million

Faksa (DAL) got a 5yr deal @3.25 per last season, and includes an NTC.

Dickinson will/should come in just short of that, or possibly even a bit higher(?), based on recent league contracts.

I’d safely approximate between 2.75-3.25 but term is a question. Maybe 2-3 years. Hopefully no protection clauses though.

JD - 15 points in 51 games, 26 years old

Nick Richie - 26 points in 56 games, 26 years old - Signed 2 x 2.5M

Warren Foegele - 20 points in 53 games, 27 years old - Signed 3 x 2.75M

Arttuei Lehkonen - 13 points in 47 games, 26 years old - Signed 1 x 2.3M

Andreas Athanasiou - 23 points in 47 games - 26 years old - Signed 1 x 2.7M

Based on what I see above I see a fair contract would be 2 x 2.4M

If these things were about production only, I'd agree. But Dickinson's representatives will be factoring in more than just goals and assists, basically all the things that Benning said when acquiring him in the first place. I doubt the number is as much as $3.5m but it could be above $3m, unless JB can strike a deal beforehand.

I decided to pick 4 players I would rather have then JD as my examples lol..

So that means we know Juolevi accepted his arbitration offer - good news. He's very cheap to the roster.

Got it mixed up with QO, my bad.

I'd be fine with a two-year arbitrated deal. That way he won't have a NTC or NMC and if he's not a fit can be swapped out for another player at 3C, worst case scenario. Saying that, I think he'll be a great fit and am stoked the Canucks acquired him so far.

No he didnt accept it

Uh, what? Source?

If Juolevi didn't accept the arbitration offer, he would've elected for salary arbitration, but his name isn't up on here. Just because he hasn't been signed doesn't mean he didn't accept it. The deadline to do this is Aug. 2. Oops

Juolevi doesn't qualify for Arbitration. Neither did Pettersson or Hughes.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Oops.

I'll ask the Juolevi question in the appropriate thread.
