With the cap space we are willing to take on cap hits for the next season or 2, for a fee of course. Contracts we are looking to ship out such as Matt Murray and Phil Kessel we can be creative on as we do not have any retention slots. Tampa is open for business and will frankly listen on anyone not highlighted as well!

greensman
When you have the luxury of bountiful picks, you can afford to take a boom-or-bust guy along the way. I’m a fan of taking chances. I surprised even myself when I selected Maveric Lamoureux. He’s huge and underweight, but skates and moves like a small player. Some doubt he can even put on enough weight to ever make it, but he’s got quite the support team and people invested in him already… meet my new monster if you’re curious https://www.nhl.com/news/2022-nhl-draft-profile-maveric-lamoureux-of-qmjhl/c-334679964?tid=277764372 Edited June 26, 2022 by greensman

Gator
Hearing the Maple Leafs have came to terms with pending UFA's Paul Stastny, and Matthew Benning. Details of contracts have not yet been released. Also hearing they are in talks with Zemgus Girgensons about a possible extention. GM Gator when asked if he expects his club to compete for a cup this upcoming year had this to say. "I truly feel we have built 1 of the best young core's in the league over this past season, and if we can get the right pieces around them, the sky is the limit. We have a good amount of cap space heading into free agency to fill some holes in our roster. The guys believe we have something special brewing here, and we think it is just a matter of time before Toronto becomes a real threat in the GML community." Popular Post Sludge
Thanks to everyone who kept the draft running smooth especially @greensman and @theminister! Its become one my favorite days of the year and this year didn't disappoint. I entered with the hope of acquiring some help on defense and left with one of my favorite defensemen in the league. as someone who comes from a family of hawks fans and watches most of their games im more then aware that Kyle Davidson is planning on a full rebuild that is likely to take a number of years at best, but iv also learned how much fun it can be to have players you watch regularly also on you fantasy team. With that said as the GM if this team i also feel bringing in a 27yo versatile 50 point defensemen as a step forward, he's now by far the best defensemen this franchise has had since i took over and hope to build around him for the coming years! 3 1

aGENT
Bennett now moved. Lot's of interest in Pesce and McNabb. One of the league scoring leaders Huberdeau still available. As is dominating the cup finals Nichushkin (though we may be leaning towards retaining unless we get a knock our socks off offer) and Martinook. He leads by example both on and off the ice. We now have what we believe to be two high quality young centres in our system, Alex and Logan. For them to be training with and then to be playing with a future Hall of famer will no doubt give them a better chance of success. Thanks to Agent Arby for the negotiations. 2
