Yes you are right. Politeness and good manners seem to be a thing of the past. They cost you nothing and mean everything. The flip side of this is, I open doors for everyone, male, female doesn't matter, and state after you, or beauty before age, taking the piss outa myself. It's what I was brought up to do, and I consider it the right thing to do.
