They're going all in on Sutter style.

I guess we'll see if toughness and grit truly pays off or if the game has truly evolved into speed and skill (including the playoffs)...

I don’t see this lineup winning a lot of games, but Flames Kraken games could at least be entertaining to watch. There are a lot of big grinders in the pacific now. Hopefully the bucks can take a page from Bieksa and “skate around him and score a goal”

The battle of Alberta is back on!  Oilers are going to get destroyed.

Yeah, the Oilers got significantly weaker in terms of size and toughness.

They lost:

Jujhar Khaira (6'4", 212 lbs)

Alex Chiasson (6'4", 208 lbs)

James Neal (6'3", 212 lbs)

Adam Larsson (6'3", 208 lbs)

Calgary get much tougher this off-season but McDavid is going to make a mockery of Zadorov's defensive awareness and speed right past him. He brings a lot of toughness that most teams need desperately though and fills a highlight reel with hits, but he's been caught flat footed many times before...

It's always been a combination of the two......not either/or

I get that, but usually a team has a general identity.  You couldn't tell me the Lightning and Penguins were built the same way as the Bruins and Blues.

A team that truly has an equal dose of size, strength, speed, and skill would be incredible.
