Im nt saying retire his jersey or throw him in the ring of honour. He's gunna have to wait a while for any recognition by the team because of the way he left. ie Pavel Bure, Roberto Luongo. Should Rory Fitzpatrick get into the Hall of Fame. This is such a humble guy. He obviously deserves to be in the Hall of Fame after humbly passing up the all-star game. Also, Rory is more worthy than Niklas Lidstrom and Scott Neidermayer. These things honestly don't mean that much anymore. 10000 organizational employees get championship rings for every championship win in any sport they cost like 5 grand even fans get em. NBA NFL hall of fames stopped meaning anything 10 years ago the players always say don't mention that it doesn't even mean anything. Even jersey retirements aren't that big of a deal anymore, everybody's getting em. After Luongo were gunna have 7 retired names and the best thing we every accomplished was a presidents trophy. we've been past 2nd round 3 times in 53 years and we have almost 7 retired numbers Edited September 14, 2021 by Iron Fist Link to comment

khay Posted September 14, 2021 Share Posted September 14, 2021 Which players forced Bettman and the NHL to change the rules for All-star selection? I'd say John Scott and Rory Fitzpatrick deserved to get in to HOF together for their contribution to the game. Link to comment
