D-Money Posted June 14, 2022 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Carolina Hurricanes Post-Playoff Update I was really hoping to become the first team to win both the regular season and playoffs this year, and went "all-in" on doing it. However, a combination of injuries to all 3 of my Colorado players, and a monster playoff round from Makar and Palat ended that dream. Kudos to @JE14... I suspect your Bruins will be joining the Hurricanes as 2-time Cup champs. That said, it was still a great year. Regular season champs, and final-four in playoffs...nothing to sniff at. Although I expect to be a playoff team next year (and every year that I have a healthy Vasilevskiy and Hedman), I don't think I will be quite as aggressive in adding to the current roster - at least not until I see how the season is going. As for the draft, we have a few picks, and expect to be making them. We will be looking to move Kuemper this offseason, along with 1 or 2 other forwards.
