Regular season will be telling.  JB did a good job revamping the roster but Hamonic, Hughes, Boeser, Petey, Sutter and Motte’s various situations are putting a ton of pressure on the coaching staff.

Based on pre season I don’t mind the level of play - but the top of the lineup and Demko need to be better if we’re going to start on the right foot.

With the preseason now over and given all the changes in players and Coaching staff this off season, do you believe that Coach Green and his Asst's are the right one's to lead & elevate our teams performance to get us back into the playoffs?

I wouldn’t be surprised that by Christmas there will be big changes... the coach being one of them.

Agree, i was shocked to see green extended.  i would have put him on a barge and pushed him out to sea myself after last season.   He belongs in the AHL!

Yeah it’s a tough call, I don’t think he’s ever had the right makeup of a team to be overly successful. Like a lot of coaches... Winnipeg and Toronto come to mind, put Green in those shoes and is he similar or worse or is it the team itself needs more tuning.Having said that I like the off season changes here but is it enough to really change?

With all the dump-and-chase I saw in those pre-season games, I don’t see how this team will improve this year.

if the Canucks are near the bottom of the standing around Christmas, Green is gone for sure.

I think Green will be gone by Xmas for sure. For me if I am ownership of the Canucks and they aren't at a 550 winning percentage by the beginning of December he should be gone.If I was Aqualini and was watching every game then I would watch for the constant take the puck in along the boards, skate behind the net and then pass it back and forth a couple times followed by the inevitable pass to the defense for a weak shot toward the net.Watch to see if the team actually drives the net with the puck.I personally for the first 10 games, am going to mark a tick on paper every time the eventual offensive play is to finally waste zone posession with a pass back for a weak defenseman shot. The last preseason game was full of it.I'm already set to do a lot of head shaking.

After the terrible start to the season and the latest loss tonight to Buffalo, it's not far fetched to think green could be a mere 10-12 games from being canned if the devastating results continue.   Uncle jim would have no choice but to do so or he'd be canned.

An even worse start to the season than anyone ever expected........

Our top 6 is actually really good.   Our team isn’t bad on paper.   So yes. I 100% blame the coaches.  It’s a country club lifestyle in that locker room.  Guys are playing for a pay check.

someone needs to lunch a middle up some of these boys arses!!!

With so much talents, the Canucks under Green surprisingly is not good at puck possession. They are not good playing the physical game either. Both PP and PK are also awful. Everything is chaotic, may be with the exception of goaltending. Green definitely is not up to the task and he should go sooner the better,
