Popular Post Toyotasfan
I was sad last season when the Canucks resigned Green, it was a great time to end it cleanly. Now it’s going to get to a really low point . 6 1 2

Popular Post Jam126
I remember thinking back when Green was hired that he would be a transition coach, and that when his contract expired we would hire an experienced "win now" coach because our rebuild would be over. Now, he was extended... I remember Randy Carlyle was extended, then was fired the next season. 2 3

MrCanuck94
I always believed in Green and thought it was more of a personnel issue, however, this season is telling. It's time for a whole new staff and breath of fresh air. 1

Popular Post D-Money
Can’t generate offence without neutering the defence. And now can’t fix the defence without neutering the offence. Getting sick of this nonsense. Coaching is huge. Look at how quickly the Islanders turned from laughingstock to contender, despite losing their most talented player. Look at how great the Flames are doing under Sutter. Just pull the plug already… 3 2 2 2

Popular Post *Buzzsaw*
Anybody who wants an answer to the OP's question should have been watching the Philly game closely. At a certain point in the 3rd, you could see Brock Boeser on the bench, who is the most easy going guy in the world and a decent person, muttering to himself after Green said something stupid to him. So if you think that was a nothing... ok. 1 2 1 1 1 1
Popular Post *Buzzsaw*
And the problem is both Green's systems and his ability to get the best out of his players. BOTH. 4 1

So if you think that was a nothing... ok. Boeser was our best player in the last half of the third period, so maybe it worked. If we scored on a single PP we probably win or lose in a shootout. The PP has been atrocious for years now and some blame for it goes to green for sure.

I said that Boeser was playing well in the PGT thread... I agree with you... he was playing hard. But his efforts were all solo efforts.... he wasn't playing in coordination with his linemates... and that is a result of Green's failure to coach the team. 1
Hockey God
Said in 2019 they should have gotten rid of this clown, that the team would go nowhere under his guidance ... they have only stagnated since then, with players playing well when the spirit or their talent moves them to, in spite of Green and his staff, not because of him.
