-AJ-
Acquired in the trade of Olli Juolevi. It's almost a foregone conclusion that Juulsen will start in Abbotsford, so I'm putting him in the prospects section for now. 1

Dazzle
What a sad return. Juolevi has more goals in his short NHL career than Juulsen who was supposed to be this offensive dynamo back in junior. That being said, I wish this kid well and hope he flourishes in Abbotsford and/or Canucks. Edited October 10, 2021 by Dazzle

I think in a year we will look back at this trade as Benning stealing Juulsen. The kid is going to do really well with us.
SergioMomesso
Two players development delayed by injuries. One coming home with a chance to rejuvenate his career and another still learning how to pivot and getting walked wide almost every shift. I’ll go with the kid coming home.

And Juulson was only picked 1 draft earlier than Juolevi

Anyways, hope he makes a significant contribution to the main club and all the best to OJ.

Captain Canuck #12
Actually, considering how highly regarded he was coming out of Juniors, the fact that he has bounced around to several NHL teams now, his combination of size and skill, and even his RHD status, I think his closest comparable is Madison Bowey. It will be interesting to see which of those two, if either, comes closest to playing to their potential with the Canucks.

Looks like we will (soon) have Juulsen, Bowey, and Woo all competing for that third pair D spot.

Yes, but looks like they'll all have to beat out Burroughs (at least in Green's mind). I would have preferred to see Bowey given that opportunity at this point, but maybe Green sees something in Burroughs I don't see!

*Buzzsaw*
Guy is 24 years old... he had his NHL tryouts with Montreal and Florida and failed miserably. He is AHL. 2
Popular Post Petey Castiglione
Did a little digging in the kid and liking his potential. He got hit with a puck to the face which slowed his NHL start. Got waived by Montreal to get back up to game speed but got claimed by Florida who stashed him in the press box most of the season. Having only played 22 games in 2 seasons while trying to come back from an eye injury. Sounds like he just needs to play and continue his development. Since he's cleared waivers he's finally going to get that playing time. Could be a real boon if he can get back to how he showed pre-injury. Hopefully the local kid can put it together and make an impact for the big club. 2
HockeyHarry
He grewup in Surrey so he must be tough. He’ll get tons of playing time in Abby. I like his bomb of a slapshot. In the old vid above^ 1
