Canucks need a 18-8-0 record to make the playoffs.

woah

Will be tough

Canucks have been playing well minus the NJ game and they are 7-3 in the last 10...

They need to continue this trend

Well if the playoff pace falls to 94 points, then it's only 17-9-0 which is much more do-able, pretty much just continue what they're doing, going 2-1-0 or 3-1-0 in those stretches.

Yup

Hopefully it falls to 94 pts.

If we  miss the playoffs, the no shows vs NYI, Ana and NJ will come back to haunt us.

The schedule immediately after the TDL gets really tough so the guys need to bring it every night.

Need to finish the road trip strong in TO and then have an amazing home stand.

So far under BB, we are plaing at a 111 pt season pace which is amazing considering we were decimated by covid at one point.

Theyve been blown out by NYI and ANa at home recently though. There hasnt been much home ice advantage. Hopefully, the crowd can spark them

Also I was perturbed by Boeser's postgame interview today. I think someone asked what the main difference has been between TG and BB and he said that they are working harder.  He quickly caught himself to say that it's not that they werent working hard previously but that they are working harder now.

It goes to show that there were some super bad habits built in the country club atmosphere of this team and I'm glad BB took over and is changing the culture of this team.

Games like NJ show that the habit still lingers but we are seeing those kinds of games less and less. So refreshing when BB was frustrated with lack of prep or readiness by the players. Loves how he tells it like it is without throwing players under the bus.  His message jsut comes out way better somehow even though he is being critical.

Loved the effort by the team tonight,  Hopefully we continue with the effort in TO

Canucks need a 14-8-1 record to make the playoffs. Seattle is eliminated from conference and president's trophy contention officially.

Certainly not out of the question given they are 21-8-5 since Boudreau took over.

We have a tough schedule after the TDL ... this home stand is a mixed bag but they are home games.   So far i've seen a team that can play with anyone.   Those covid games against the top Eastern seeds didn't look like a fluke now (yes know we lost - but we outplayed some of them - TB - and well look at who wasn't in the lineup!)... TO games of course too (like them or not, still probably the best TO teams they've had since maybe the peak Sundin era, and possibly even given the peak Clark/Gilmour a run for their money if they didn't have to beat a top team in the first round each year lol)...

Looks like the only chance is to catch up to LA Kings now and we would need to pretty much win all our remaining games to make it!!! Like no margin for errors. And we have 1 game against the Kings as well!!

if LA Loses today, they can afford to go 6-1-0 assuming vegas sorta goes on a .500 run here. The actual playoff bar is currently 95 points with Vegas losing their game earlier which is 5-1-1, but LA has several easy opponents left. Lets hope the Blue Jackets win tonight!

6–1-0 to make playoffs

lol pretty sure LA won.. they need to run the table 7-0 to even have a chance assuming LA will win the gimme games..

and who the hell does scheduling in the NHL and rogers arena.. we have 3 days off in between games and then a back to back home game? prolly because whoever does event planning at rogers arena decides it's a good idea to stick a concert at rogers arena over the weekend. when we probably coulda had a tired dallas team on a back to back. but instead we get to play a back to back at home..

Cant make assumptions LA will go 4-1-0 in final 5. That would mean a 5 game win streak. Not impossible but im sure they’ll lose one of the Head to head with the ducks
