Coconuts Posted October 16, 2021 Share Posted October 16, 2021 (edited) Forwards looked good, all of them. Demko was our MVP, kept us in it during the first and gave us a chance to come back. Defense was pretty good, but we've gotta clean up our standing around in our own zone, that burnt us. But can't complain too much about 3/4 points, just gotta clean things up. Definitely can't be giving up 2 goal leads in the last 3.5mins of a game, but that was a pretty bad call... I was watching on my phone, so it was hard to see if OELs stick actually hit Koenecky, but it didn't look like it on the small screen. All in all, we played a good game minutes the first period and the last 3mins. Absolutely dominated in OT, thought for sure we were gonna take it then. Petey, Miller and Chiasson get their 1st of the year. Huggy Bear and OEL looked great out there. Demko was solid for the most part. Philly just caught a break late on that cost us the W in regulation. Watch out when Boes is back in the lineup. We will be an even better team overall. Let’s win tomorrow night too! That's seriously how you reward a player for A: scoring, B: this is the first of back to backs, and we had a two goal lead....you had such a glaring opportunity to give the 4th line more ice time in the third and for really no good reason, they were benched.
