Yeah and I also like that OEL is paired with Myers. We actually end up getting more value out of Myers now as he is playing as a top pairing Dman.

That’s an excellent point!  A super good player will make others better.  OEL is a super good player.  Was Paul

Reinhart the last D man we had like that?  Just really good in all parts of the game.

Um if youre tired they sure are and if your tilted they are a good way to calm things down.

what? our football team won 2 provincial championships and we never took a timeout ever, there is reasons to not take timeouts. like maybe our team is conditioned better than other teams, you know green makes them do the bag skates for a reason right?

I'm stoked at how this team looks already. You can tell they are still getting to know each other. Both on and off the ice. That's whats so exciting. If they can look this good this early, just think how they could look say by Christmas, after the players have had time to get to know each others tendencies more, can read off each other better, and Green has established his lines with enough time together.

And some media blokes were saying OEL was a shell of his former self. Lol. I mean, he may not be Norris level anymore but he’s still top tier. He was stuck in Arizona for God’s sake. That team wouldn’t win a beer league.

Because they ogling over Mrazek who predictably blew his groin in his first game and trying to predict how many goals Bunting would score

also if our team is tired taking a timeout isnt going to fix anything because the more rested team also gets a break too, a 30 second break is not going to regain your legs

When Boeser's back it means Hoglander has to drop to the 3rd line. Hog-Dick-Pod line might be a good fit.

It's a good thing his last name isn't Rodkolzin....    :bigblush:

"Blew the lead" is the wrong angle to take for this game. This game should have been over after the third if not for a phantom penalty call. Without that call this game ends 4-2. Their goal after that penalty was bang bang play, tough one.

The way to really judge this game is that we dominated the third, first game of a long road trip, first jet lagged game. That gives one great hope for this team.

Exactly

Great win for the team.  We played a team that was playing in front of their home crowd for the first time in a long time and came out flying in the first period.  We held on and then came back strong and outplayed them for the rest of the game.

Very proud of the guys!

Wow what a shootout.

JTs move was amazing.

I would normally be ecstatic but that was such a bush league job by the refs and the NHL.

There's something wrong with the sport when Hirsh says Canucks have to be careful because they are up 4-2 with a PP opps advantage and that refs are looking to make a call on them.

Canucks need to bear down during those times. I thought that's why we went with vets?
