With the capspace and a potential lottery win they are rebuilding a new core. Ah yes if only we were coyotes fans

The only difference: the Yotes fans knows there team is rebuilding, whereas, the Canucks fans were sold that they will be competitive this year. Potentially, with a lottery win and alot of cap space moving forward, the Yotes MIGHT be in a more competitive position than the Canucks in a few years. Ofcourse, it will depend on the quality of decisions there management team will make. Edited November 2, 2021 by ShawnAntoski
ShawnAntoski
Gallant vs Green - this might not end well ? Unless, Demko steals this one. Good chance, the Canucks comes out motivated; Gallant makes his adjustments after the first intermission and game over. DownUndaCanuck
Coming up against a hot goalie, don't like our odds but you never know, it's games like this where the Canucks explode for 5+ goals hopefully. Need to get back on a winning track, simply can't use injuries as excuses when we're only really missing a 4th line winger now. Dried up offence of a slumping team comes up against a hot goalie and young vibrant team playing like they're in their prime. 4-1 Canucks hopefully... They will be setting records for futility this year, next year and the year after. It's really not looking good for them.

I get and just like Buff, Ottawa and NJ (just to name a few) are a member of the ever rebuilding group of teams. Although, these will tend to compete for a year or two; then they start rebuilding again.

They are actually well on their way to beat the worst start to a season ever with 11 losses (Rangers 1943-44 season during world war 2) 2 hours ago, Mj2345 said: Praying Petey gets a goal Or a couple... It's under Shero that they've started to rebuild. He was hired a year after Benning and has been let go since.

Hairy Kneel
We cannot afford to not go into the crease and get into their goalies kitchen. Pearson, Miller, Garland, and Lammikko have to step up and disrupt their flow. Greasy goal medicine. F#@$ all the perimeter play. Leave that to EP Hughes 1

Rathbone scored and it was disallowed because Hogs made contract with the goalie .. How many times did Gary Roberts run McLean in 94? Maybe show them video of that. Accidentally on purpose stuff...
wai_lai416
If the canucks skates we have a chance coz we will draw some penalties.. if we are still standing around waiting for passes and not moving then we prolly lose coz we will end up with almost 0 power play again and as bad as the pp have been it still better than nothing since 5v5 we are just as bad creating

Hopefully they finally don’t give us a reason to. Shouldn't turn toxic if the boys finally step onto the ice playing with some of the fiery passion allowed on these boards recently. Kudos for admins for not over-reacting to the venting. Some excellent hockey schooling amongst all the angst. New day = new hope in Canuckland.. Expecting to see a corner we might turn. 1 3
CanucksJay
I dreamt we won 5-0 and looked really good. I'm almost 40 now. Last time I dreamt of the Canucks was when I was a kid. So strange. I dunno why I had that dream...
