If a roster that just turned over 11 players a few months ago needs a shakeup then it’s a sure sign you need to fire your GM and your coach.

Yeah, no kidding eh.

But if you’ve turned over the roster that much, and the team still isn’t doing well, then it’s gotta be the coach and his systems, no?

Or is it the players that the GM has provided that isn’t a match with how the coach wants to play? If that’s the case, then that’s more of an issue of lack of communication isn’t it?

Because he said in advance of Free Agency it was time to move on.

He was classy about it.

Made it clear he was leaving...

Sure but this could mean that he didn't think he was wanted, the club was moving on, they didn't want to pay him enough, etc.  Doesn't mean he didn't like the team or the coaching

The public (and hockey pundits) had largely thought that the Canucks had improved the team this summer.  Not that the team was built to contend, but that the changes were a fairly good improvement.  The top players are not injured and still the same people they were a couple of years ago.  So......how can this not be more so on the coaching?  JB is not winning any awards but the big issue seems to be a massive disconnect in the room with the coaches or each other.....and this pisses me off because a bunch of guys getting paid millions to do what they love should be giving everything regardless of what's going on.
