These two are our problem not the players imo. Last night's interview with Kelly McCrimmon Cleary pointed out what a real GM should be like. He would never hire a "green"green for a bench boss. Interesting you say this because I was thinking about life this morning..... Wasn't there once a day when we were all green? Once upon a time Scotty Bowman had zero games coached. combover Posted November 15, 2021 Share Posted November 15, 2021 Going back to 2014 Craig button has had a similar draft list as Benning he’s not some magical unicorn. he’s made some good picks and some bad ones we’ll be just fine when he’s gone. ( hopefully soon) If his Drafting is the last argument to keep him and it’s not a strong one. Over rated is a better term to describe him as a scout. what’s the point of drafting if your going to keep ahl plugs over your picks anyway.
