Maniwaki Canuck
Given ownership's support for Benning and Benning's support for Green, the best shot at breaking this logjam is exactly "Fire Benning" and "Fire Green" chants. If the players actually do like Green, they can start playing for him and get some results. But it is time to fish or cut bait. 1 1

I'd hate to hear "Fire ----" chants or see jerseys thrown on the ice. The coaches and players are already struggling in a very public way and don't need another thing to stress them out. And Wednesday will be a national game - the country will be watching. Think about how the players will feel - yes, they make a lot of money, but they're also under immense pressure everyday and are playing their hearts out. I'm no fan of Green as a coach, but he comes across as a genuinely nice person. And remember how Jim Benning mentioned that the "Fire Benning" banner affected his family more than it did him. Please, no matter what happens, remember that the GM, coach, and players are human beings who are trying their best. Let's show that we are a classy hockey market who will support our team in tough times. Quit being a control freak, no one needs your advice!

Odd.
Yeeeeeeaaaaah where the pitchforks at? I hope we have some fire _____ chants. Honestly enough is enough. If we lay a $&!#ter, im starting a fire green chant. Ive had enough of this $&!#. There’s others out there who’ve suffered longer than I have. Think about them. We want change. We want results. We had a fire Gillis chant in 2014 after the Ducks game, next thing you know Gillis was gone. I’m hoping history repeats itself. 1

48MPHSlapShot
Don't worry. For fans to chant for firings in the arena we would first need to fill the arena with passionate fans, and that's not happening any time soon. Fan apathy might very well save Green and Benning's jobs for the time being.
CanucksForever2
Fans are allowed to chant and say whatever they want in the game, but I'm not suggesting they do that. In my opinion, never throw the Canucks Jersey onto the ice! That is a big insult, disgrace to the City, fans, organization and past Canucks (sedins, Linden, etc). I wouldn't call them fans.
