Fans have every right to be upset, but I hope that they can remain civil and classy no matter what the outcome of Wednesday's game. I'd hate to hear "Fire ----" chants or see jerseys thrown on the ice. The coaches and players are already struggling in a very public way and don't need another thing to stress them out. And Wednesday will be a national game - the country will be watching.

Think about how the players will feel - yes, they make a lot of money, but they're also under immense pressure everyday and are playing their hearts out. I'm no fan of Green as a coach, but he comes across as a genuinely nice person. And remember how Jim Benning mentioned that the "Fire Benning" banner affected his family more than it did him.

Please, no matter what happens, remember that the GM, coach, and players are human beings who are trying their best. Let's show that we are a classy hockey market who will support our team in tough times.

Quit being a control freak, no one needs your advice!

Mike Gilis was fired the DAY AFTER fire gillis chants were loud at Rogers Arena.

Fickle owner does fickle things.

Indeed, if the Fire Gillis chant worked out so well for us we wouldn't be having this discussion right now...

Want to show how disappointed you are with the current edition of the Nucks...simple...DON'T GO TO THE GAME!!....hit them in the pocket books...nothing like playing in front of near empty stadium to get the message across that it is not worth your time and $$$

Exactly don't pay for this garbage quality of play

thank you for being one of the ever-increasingly rare people capable of empathy and understanding. I think I've counted about 4 of us on these forums.

Yeeeeeeaaaaah where the pitchforks at?

I hope we have some fire _____ chants. Honestly enough is enough. If we lay a $&!#ter, im starting a fire green chant.

Ive had enough of this $&!#. There’s others out there who’ve suffered longer than I have. Think about them. We want change. We want results.

We had a fire Gillis chant in 2014 after the Ducks game, next thing you know Gillis was gone. I’m hoping history repeats itself.

Calling someone a control freak for asking for class and civility does not reflect very well on you.

Asking for class and civility from a bunch of fans (aka, fanatics) does make you seem like a control freak though.. have you heard of freedom of speech? It applies to negative things too..
