LTC123
I don't know any stud #1 or #2 D's right now. If a winning team had a young up-and-comer #1 D that they deem expendable and wanted additional scoring, would JT alone do it?

Popular Post luckylager
Disagree with Patel If JB could somehow get a young, top pairing dman for Miller.. you take that and run like hell. 2 3

NUCKER67
Does it have to be a RD? Hughes, Poolman and Rathbone can all play L and R, so there's some flexibility there. How about a 2nd pairing LD? OEL - Myers ?? - Hughes Rathbone - Hamonic Poolman Burroughs . Edited November 17, 2021 by NUCKER67

No doubt, if the team can get anything resembling a top RD for Miller they've gotta try, even if they've got to add depending on who it was It's a no brainer, they're so hard to get 1

You aren’t getting a young top pairing RD for JT Miller (I’m assuming that you’re talking about guys like Seider, Schneider, and Dobson?)

What? Dude, read your first post: "robbing peter to pay paul" I took that statement as you insinuating Miller would land a young top pair RHD in a trade, but leaves a hole in forward the group. If what you actually meant by "robbing peter to pay paul" is what you wrote in your reply to me, I suggest you use a different proverb in the future...

StLouis signed Parayko to an extension this off-season - a year ahead of time and gave him an NTC on the 1st 6 years of his 8 year deal. Safe to say they don’t intend to trade him. Miller doesn’t fit NJD’s timeline. Would unnecessarily weaken their D and take opportunities away from the players they are looking to develop. They just acquired Graves this off-season too as they were looking to improve their blue line. Woods is out long term after hip surgery this month. They are in a rebuild. Can’t imagine they want to give up futures for rentals and the value seems rather off. They also insist that they only want players who are committed and will be proud to wear the jersey. Tuch was a Buffalo fan growing up and sounds legit excited to go there.
