Can't be too upset with the players when the system they don't believe in is failing.

I haven't seen a player interview that has said they believed in it, just that they're working hard to try make it work.

You would think that this is their cry for help needing a change

Really like Miroshnichenko.  Michkov would be a hell of a consolation prize the following year as well.

He has shades of Ovechkin/Kovalchuk in his game. Explosive skater who can hit when he gets mad and can rip the puck.

As long as he doesn't sulk and isn't a huge defensive liability lot to like there.

Still can gain weight and get even stronger.

The sad thing is they’ve now probably let things go on too long for any respectable coach to even wanna come here.

Before there was actually optimism, now this team just looks broken.

Agreed. You couple that with the fact that it looks like we are heading for some other version of a rebuild and it’s going to make enticing an experienced coach even harder.

Actually I could see us go on a short winning streak (provided Demko gets all the starts in this streak) which will only give a false impression on the state of the club.  I clearly don't want the team to ever lose but something really needs to be fixed.

Main issue with him is similar to Podkolzin with his contract length.  Decent chance he falls a few spots due to that, which would be awesome for us.

The bad coaching has, however, destroyed Petey's confidence.  It's likely he'll rebound once we hire an actual coach instead of Green and his clown college companions.

If he doesn't like the coach, he needs to find it within himself to at least look like an NHL player. If you're upset or disagree with the coach and you play like that, you're not a professional hockey player.

That's what's so painfull. It's too late and it was obvious a month ago with the eye test and crap decisions coming out of preseason. Unreal, ffnm unreal.

I said it before, he should've been fired after our first long homestand when the season could still be salvaged. Instead the preached "patience" as if Green hasnt been here for 5 years..

We've dug ourselves a huge hole that we wont be able to climb out of. Even a new management/coaching boost would screw us over a good draft pick. lose-lose situation all because the wouldn't fire Green early.

So tied of green blaming effort and young  guys finding their game as reasons for playing so poorly.  US broadcast pointed out so many mistakes canucks defenders made.  Eg. Myers playing goal not using his reach being 6’7 or pressuring puck in any way.  Boudreau was very critical of structure not effort. ( not saying we need boudreau ) but at least there were instances instead of effort excuses by green

Structure isn't in Green's system but it sure as he'll is in Boudreau's and Sutter's. There's a lesson in there.
