Leads me to think that maybe Green's tenure as head coach is coming to an end....

 

Thoughts on Babcock replacing potentially Green?

Source doesn't seem too legit. D&D were saying there was a lot of noise around change today they were hearing but didn't mention anything specific.

 

Babcock could be interesting - Like Torts could go either way, like the experience he brings, don't like the things the DET and TOR fans had to say about him - still any change is good right now.

Not sure how hiring him will work tho - as we either match his TO contract who are still paying him, or he walks away from that which is like 7M a year right for a good few more years right ?  Maybe someone could shed light on that.

I cannot see Aquilini’s paying Babcock 7M per year to coach. I mean, 2.75M for Green was already steep for them, 7M is bananas. 

 

If he comes here to coach, he's going to be taking a lot less, or he's not coming. 

 

I have mixed feelings about Babcock as well. Not many good things said about the man in Toronto for sure, I'm not sure about Detroit. And would his personality and his "style" of coaching actually be good for the young players on this current roster, or will his theatrics and his methodology be tuned out quicker than Green's?

He is in Vancouver, but it's because the University team he coaches is playing the Thunderbirds. No legitimate reports of anything else.

 

I figured as much, but thought I'd share and hear what the community here thinks about it, if it were true.
