Now the strategy is just to dump it. No chase. Podkolzin, Miller, Garland and Motte are the only forwards hustling like there’s no tomorrow. Keep them. The rest are either disconnected and need a new coach to reconnect them with a philosophy of play, or worse, Covid has affected them in ways we still cannot mesure. He says watches the Canucks and every chance he gets and thinks this team has the skill to do well but for whatever reason there may or may not be a disconnect between coaching staff and players. For me it was similar reasons in that I wanted him for his up tempo style than I think would benefit our team. Boudreau gets $&!# on for his playoffs but it's his fault those Caps teams melted in game 7s so badly. I kind of agree with this. There’s an arrogance to him that just rubs off the wrong way… his skills usually hides it, but when he’s not producing, the arrogance is more prominent.
