it’s his last chance to redeem himself ,. He will get this last chance..  SJ is offering it at 3.5m

 

I say bring him home to Vancouver where his mum n dad live.   He left home at 14 yrs,

went to Atlanta, Buffalo, Winnipeg as a young African American.

I get we don’t really understand that and how that has influenced him.

He is at a bottom.

Hell, he would probably have to sleep in the basement at this point.

 

Hitting bottom..   can have a polar opposite effect on life. .. and a Father who trains him, and a Mother who loves him will get him back on track the closer they are to him.

 

As a hockey player He’s worth the 3.5. ..

 

and if the person outside the rink continues to fall..  he’ll be worth the buy out figure and capspace we regain.

Let's not add more long term dead cap once we finally get rid of Luongo.  He's not a kid anymore and he's gone back plenty to see his family, without him suddenly turning into anything respectable.  Some scumbags are beyond redemption and Kane is clearly one of them.

They can't.  Only ELCs can be sent to the ECHL without their prior consent.

Our market is very very Charity based,. almost too much,.  We have a choir boy team..

Its heated anger, a Hells kitchen.. 

It’s a “Boston “ type game every night,.

when other teams play us it’s like going to the pie eating contest.

I agree. Vancouver focuses too much on the correct image. I've been a fan for decades, and I'd rather have had a few more douches on the teams if it meant a cup or two. Hockey is a game played best on the edge, with attitude. Sometimes nice guys can't raise the bar when needed.

To be honest, I probably would do a Kane (50% retained) for Pearson type deal.  Hockey wise, he’s just exactly what we need.  I’m torn.

If it was just gambling that was the issue, I'd say yes.

This is a guy who faked his proof of vaccination. 

And we're talking $3.5 Million for 3 years.
