Popular Post The Arrogant Worms
https://www.nhl.com/canucks/news/canucks-for-kids-fund-receives-50000-gift-from-elias-pettersson/c-328483042 Vancouver, B.C. - The Canucks for Kids Fund (CFKF) is grateful to announce that Elias Pettersson has made a generous donation of $50,000 as part of Giving Tuesday. Fans are also encouraged to join Elias on this day of giving by making a donation at the CFKF's page on Canucks.com and selecting the EP40 Fund. "The city has welcomed me with open arms since I was drafted by Vancouver in 2017. I am incredibly grateful for all the support I've received and wanted to find a way to show my appreciation," said Vancouver Canucks centre, Elias Pettersson. "When I signed my new contract, I knew I wanted to put some of that money towards charities and giving back to the community. I'm glad I am able to do so in the city I've come to know and love, and to the beneficiaries that mean so much to our team." The Canucks for Kids Fund is dedicated to assisting charities that support children's health and wellness, foster the development of grassroots hockey and facilitate and encourage education in British Columbia. Each year, the CFKF is proud to generously support its three core beneficiaries, the Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children's Hospice and BC Children's Hospital Foundation, as well as other deserving organizations. In addition to his donation, which is the largest individual cash donation a Canucks player has ever made, Pettersson also supports the CFKF through his EP40 Crew ticket program, where he hosts families from various CFKF beneficiaries at each game day. He started this during the 2019.20 season and has hosted more than 45 families to date. "We are overwhelmed with Elias' generosity today," said Paolo Aquilini, President of the Canucks for Kids Fund. "So many organizations we work with have been impacted so deeply by the pandemic, and these funds will go a long way to help. We hope that our fans will join Elias and support the Canucks for Kids Fund on this Giving Tuesday." Popular Post Snake Doctor
That’s a great thing EP40 just did. I like him again. He does not remind me of Mark Messier anymore.
tas
without wanting to be dismissive of the donation, because it's still a positive thing, assuming he donated $50k canadian, that's a little over half of what he's paid for a single game. 1

Ghostsof1915
Still a nice gesture. Maybe he's feeling a lot better. And hopefully he tears up the league. 3
Warhippy
I saw the best/worst comment from this online Is Pettersson still young enough to qualify? Maybe the medical experts can find out what happened to his game because it's obvious he's either lazy or handicapped It's awful but I still had a lol out of it That being said, good guy EP!!!!!! 1 2

If every Canuck would give a little over half of what they are paid for a single game that would be great also. 1 1 1

Fanuck
People will be quick to dismiss the amount due to EP's overall salary, but if every NHL player donated the same percentage of their salary that would be significant and change the lives of many, many sick/less fortunate children/families. 1
