in some ways I think keeping Green has been good for the Canucks

if Jimmer didn't resign Green, he probably would not have been fired

And the Canucks would be mid-pack playoff bubble team, trading picks to (hopefully made the playoffs)  for as long as Jimmer was still here

At least this way the upper management had to make a full change in direction

The problem is that Green has likely caused permanent damage to the to franchise thanks to his gross incompetence.  Would sure be nice to have Gadjovich here.

What Molson is talking about is the burden placed upon the GM.  In future I guess he will have a President to deal with the media rather than the GM which sounds like a good idea to me.  It sounds like Aquilini is thinking along the same lines

 

What Molson meant was that the job is just too large for one individual and that he didn't provide Bergevin with enough support.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes.

 

I'm just getting old and bitter lol. Reminiscing how it used to be when the articles used to be written by intelligent (at least competent) people with credentials who had passed some sort of test or had been upheld to a certain standard. Even just by having a full time job, usually with an editor. Now you got this.

 

It's reached the point of septic sludge. With the internet it's just massively over saturated ... like Comp Sci in the 90's. There is no way in hell Drance should be anywhere near sports, let alone hockey, let alone write an article on it that becomes public, or my gawd imagine if that clown got tv time.

 

Instead of talking about actual hockey people have to spend hours educating newcomers that the tweets they're reading are written by morons who don't know anything about hockey, and in most cases haven't played a sport in their life.

 

It's a modern day tragedy but it doesn't bother me at all.

It's really been stripped down since they got the beginning of their contract.  At this point, I'd rather see some coverage of the Dub.
