psharpe07
Will be interesting to see if any of the guys who had it last year contract it again this time around. The Israel study done a while back showed natural immunity to be 7-13x stronger than the vaccines and more durable. I think its become pretty obvious at this point that vaccines are not going to stop this thing, only reduce the risk of hospitalization.

DrJockitch
I think following the pattern they really probably should shut all 4 of these teams down for a week. Would hate to see us shut down when just getting hot but we can’t keep adding degrees of separation from Calgary. They shut down Carolina but the pattern shows it spreads and spreads to the next team down the road. Carolina took their two positive tests out of the lineup and it still spread to us, we got two positives and if we play tonight there is a significant, though nowhere near certain, chance they pass it to CBJ……. Lockdown the four teams now before it is the rest of the league.

You need a few days to see who else comes back positive, if they play and then infect some Columbus players it quickly snowballs into massive numbers around the league. We are feeling good about ourselves, it is a good mindset to give a little pause for 2-3 days to let the players get sorted and test negative... and to bring up a couple kids from the farm team to replace the positive tests. The coaches can sit down and draw up a few things and give video for the guys to watch while they are holed up at home. Almost like a mini training camp with the new staff where they can actually make some changes rather than doing everything on the fly. No. it’s time we freakin move on and live life. If you’re sick stay out. Otherwise, let’s stop. Vaccinate yourselves so you don’t get it worse and move on. This is not going away, Everyone will eventually get this. 2
DrJockitch
Interesting that Schenn’s positive test was taken before the game against Carolina. So he played the game and was in locker room with everyone before the positive test came back. I think that is embarrassing but also really makes me think they should shut this game down as we know the entire team had significant exposure.
