Yeah looks hilarious on television no one wearing masks all sitting around drinking beer screaming in peoples faces. And then people are wondering why these fully vaccinated hockey players are all getting infected. Blane the unvaxxed though.  Such a mystery.

Are you vaccinated?

If you test everyone vaccinated you will find positive cases. Same with polio vaccine, but we don't test THEM.

The goal is to prevent disease.

In case of nhl, they are trying to prevent spread. Vaccinated people can spread, but at a reduced rate vs unvaccinated.

They are testing every third day, unlike back in bubble when it's done daily. So now they are finding cases. Early report is that both guys are asymptomatic. So vaccines are working just fine.

Heard on radio that Schenn's positive test was from Sunday AM, before the Hurricanes game. Slow test turn around times sucks. So Schenn probably exposed the entire team by now. But so far only Lammi is positive. Let's see what they find later today.  If most stay negative, then vaccines are working at reducing spread. It's possible both guys got it from the community instead.  Maybe one of them went to Whistler :D

Hey Jaimito, thanks for all the info. I had a quick question that came up with my brother the other day maybe you could shed some light on.

Regarding the Senators team last month how is that so many (10) players contracted Covid? Shouldn't they have been more protected against spread as you indicated above?

What a ridiculous thing to say.
We don’t test for Polio because Canada has been Polio free for 30 years (because of vaccinations).
When we see cases of Polio, it is extremely rare and only found in non vaxed people.
140 people world wide got it last year, all no vaxed and in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Interesting.

What is the difference between an MrNA vaccine vs a traditional vaccine, that we take once ?  So many, new words in this new world we are living in...

I don’t get the people complaining about not being able to go to a restaurant, ect. It’s not a big deal. Just get take out. The only complaint I really get is taking away their jobs. That’s just taking it way too far for me. We know you can still get it and spread it if you’re vaxxed. If you’re that terrified of it by all means, keep getting your vaccinations every 3 months. If it works so well, you have nothing to worry about.

we'll prolly see more positives the next couple days with the canucks and probably see their game postponed.. prolly a good thing too.. can't imagine a defense of hughes oel myer burrough juulsen and di giuseppe and no backups if any of them go down.

Di Giuseppe is a forward

But we'd play him at D if we needed to, I guess
