Dahlin is RHD isn’t he compared to Chychrun?

 

Obvious to me that it’s Dahlin then, since we need more help in that area than LD. ANNNND…LHD are easier to acquire than RHD. So there’s that as well. Dahlin all the way. What would Buffalo be asking for, would be another question. Would the asking price be too steep and would actually move us backwards instead of forward?

I wonder what Buffalo’s asking price for Dahlin would be, though. 

 

Has he lived up to his draft status expectations of being a franchise defenseman? 

 

I haven’t heard much of Dahlin to be honest since his draft year.

With our cap issues and sold top 3 d, I'd be looking for someone more physical and at a lower pay grade and cost of acquisition than these guys.

I think you go with Jakob but both are going to be way to pricey and the team has little to no assets.

Just watched big the Sabres game (I watch a lot of games) and Dahlin is just a way better player than Chychrun.  Dahlin has payed on a cra team, without OEL, like ?Chychscrub.  

Herein is.  Alf would trade Higgey Bear Quinn Hughes for Dahlin and the Snres (unprotected) 2022 first.  Yes, I know this sounds (from our POV) totally insane, but I’d do it.  

Quinn Hughes for Dahlin + 2022 (unprotected) 1st.

is this the Scotch effcting my brain?

That could be a great trade if we win the lottery and have the 1st overall pick.  I like the idea of more Swedish players as well.

 

I also agree, I would take Dahlin over Chychrun any day.  He went 1st overall for a reason.  Get him out of Buffalo and he will become a Norris trophy winner.

I wouldn't mind Pettersson for Dahlin. His stock has dropped, his skyless potential is still there.

I didn’t not know about Petey for Dahlin.  Petey is axa better player!  The point here is that ?Chychscrub isn’t very good, and ?Dahlin is better.  Imagine a left side D with Hughes, ODL, and Dahlin!  We could get ?Dalton for likely very little too.  I’d say our 2 nd in 2022 should do it.  Might have to add a scrub, but that’s okay.
