Completely different.

Omicron is much milder and players are vaccinated now.

Theyre getting it regardless of protocols so I’m not sure what your point is.

The point is that you do not need to be on death's door to suffer after effects bad enough to prevent you from playing hockey and to negatively affect your life. Ask Sutter about that.

Sutter has nothing to do with this. He contracted delta when he was unvaccinated.

There is no evidence that this variant causes long term effects to vaccinated people.

Are you being willfully obtuse? This variant is about 3 weeks old. You are really unaware that mild symptoms are no guarantee with respect to long term effects? Believe whatever you want; if you really think it's a good idea to get covid now, go for it.

This  posts seems to ignore that Delta is still here.

Preliminary evidence says Omi is less severe to the vaxxed; but it is still a bit too early to say for sure.

And Delta is still here.

Did I mention Delta is still here?

You need to look at the science then.

Omicron attacks the body in a different way than Delta did. The long term effects that Sutter is experiencing will not be likely with the new variant. Especially with someone who is vaccinated.

The variant isn't old enough for us to know either way.

They have scientists around the world studying this variant day and night.

They’re pretty aware of the differences between Delta and Omicron, and how it effects the body of a vaccinated vs unvaccinated person.

Show me a link to a reputable study on the long term effects of omicron.
