There was a dude on the news that was crying about his throat cancer scheduling, it was heart breaking. If it's just shoulders, then I agree. It’s all surgeries, just like it always has, unless it’s an immediate life threatening issue, like your lungs shutting down because of covid. Enough is enough with our government not stepping up over the last 2-3 years and upgrading hospitals and healthcare. Billions of dollars that could have been put toward fast tracking the solutions to these problems. Instead they wasted a bunch of our money keeping us home and ruining business. FYI. All surgeries were backed up and on waiting lists long before covid. Our heathcare system is and was a joke. It’s ridiculous they haven’t done anything to improve it, even when we have the need for it staring them in their big dumb faces. We shouldn’t have to pick and chose who lives and dies, but you people can’t get that through your skulls. We all deserve better, but so many people have decided to blame each other and fight their neighbors instead of the ones denying us of a proper healthcare system. The antivaxxers are trying to make that choice by voluntarily becoming walking biohazards. Let them do their own research at home and enjoy some horsey paste. I would rather let people get their shoulder surgeries and allow these idiots to face the consequences for their stupidity. Get over yourself dude. We are having a current outbreak at my shop. Today we had 8 people out of 45 test positive on rapid tests. 7 of the 8 were vaccinated and two of them had the worst symptoms. The one unvaxed guy had zero symptoms. If you’d rather have someone get a non life threatening surgery, then allow someone else to die……. That says a lot more about you than anyone else. Those idiots should be locked up, right along with people who think that people who don’t agree with them deserve to die. Seriously disgusting and dispicable some of the comments here. It’s awful to see some people put themselves and their beliefs so high above others that they want to deny fellow Canadians healthcare that they all contribute too. Antivaxers are dummies IMO. Very selfish people. But I’ve never heard any of them talk about taking away anyone else’s rights or saying that the vaxed should die or get denied healthcare. Boy do I have an endless supply of videos for you. Thousands of videos of antivaxxers and anti maskers behaving like children. People being assaulted or even killed for trying to enforce restrictions. Others verbally and physically abusing employees and health care workers just trying to do their jobs. Wait till you see the school board meetings. Lots of us are going to burn in hell I suppose. Then we have the constant barrage death threats towards health care workers and politicians. I see a lot of gaslighting going on these days about antivaxxers but I for one am not going to forget about this any time soon. 1

I get you are saying that the health care system was always strained. What I am saying is the unvaxxed are adding to the delays.....worse than ' like it always has' 1

Does it ruin my life day to day. Yeah. Does it end my life? Nope. It’s not like our dog pooh healthcare system doesn’t have us all waiting for months on end anyway…….. I'm assuming you'd think the US system was better, at least in terms of wait times. So how do you explain the surgical backlog due to covid in the US? https://www.mckinsey.com/industries/healthcare-systems-and-services/our-insights/cutting-through-the-covid-19-surgical-backlog I see you're trying hard to defend peoples rights, which is great, but it feels like you have to ignore the real damage being done by anti-vaxxers to do it. Rather than fight, he pulls his dead comrade over himself so the VC can't see him. When the battle is over, he emerges as a "survivor", even though he did nothing to help in the battle. Anti vaxxers are O'Neill 50 years from now: "When covid came grandpa, what did you do?" "I did nothing son. Nothing." How heroic. I see a lot of support from folks that typically also complain about lefty entitlements. But being anti-vax is the most entitled stance I think I've ever seen.
