Despite their lack of shots Panthers had high quality opportunities and their shot attempts were pretty even with ours. They just weren't hitting the net as much.

They capitalized on their chances that hit the net.

So they had as many chances and they were more deadly? Sounds like it was then more a case of our shots being poor than Bobrovsky being amazing, though there may have been some of that too.

Still no Petey? Is anyone worried yet? Can’t remember a shift he dominated. I can’t even remember the last time Petey dominated a game. Half a game even. Been so long.

He's looked terrible all season. His first couple years it wasn't just offence, it was the way he hounded the puck from one end of the ice to the other. It was magnetized to his stick and he was obsessed with making a great play.

Now, he seems uninterested, emotionless, and just not good enough skill wise.

He should've taken JB's first offer and kept his head down. I don't think he was ready for the sting of fans calling him on the holdout and shaking his confidence more than it already was. At this point I'm wondering if he'll make it back any time this year.

Only watched a bit of the game. Demko looked a bit shaky for the first 40 minutes. We greatly outshot the Panthers. Was this a case of Bobrovsky stealing the game or were our shots just lousy?

I didn't think we were as dangerous as the shot clock might have you believe, I thought Florida had the better chances from the second period onward

They also missed a lot of shots, but I can't find the data for it

It was a good effort though, considering how long we'd been off, but Florida's a top team and played like it

Their goalie was a lot better than our goalie.  That’s why we lost.
