We looked really rusty but the result reflected a top NHL team beating a team that had covid and was off for a week and half. To be honest, thought the Panthers should've blown us out way more. Demko was not so good for the first part of the year. Then he played great. Tonight he was terrible. Track his save %. Miller, Bo, Petey, Hughes, and all our guys down games, but the team can still win. If our goalie is craperolla (like Demko was tonight and has been earlier in the year) we have no chance. Quality of shots makes a huge difference the quality Demko faced was far better than what we had 400 perimeter point shots with nobody in front isn’t the same as 10 tip ins in tight rebounds off man rushes and don’t forget the breakaways. demko has to play like vezina goalie in order for this team to win. He has to be better just like the entire team. maybe if just one Canuck player got upset when he gets run over it would help . instead it’s the itty bitty batch crew doing nothing to protect the best player… I found that to the most disappointing part of the game then we just touch there goalie and they demonstrated how it’s suppose to look. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
