High achiever it looks like. Neat to have some more female representation in the company.

I like that she's had experience with the Devils already as well. JR did say he wanted to expand the analytics dept so here we are.

Doerrie has worked as an analyst of player information and video with the Devils, and a video coach with the OHL’s Sudbury Wolves. Most recently, she worked as the director of advanced performance with York University in Toronto. She also had short stint as a video coach with Hockey Canada, a writer for The Athletic, and an analytics advisor at Nipissing University.

Damn quite a career for a 25 year old.

Very good hire. Rutherford is beefing up the front office. Love to see it.

There may be a salary cap for the on ice roster but there's no cap for how you fill out your front office.

I expect that she's not the only woman who will be hired in a front office position. Canucks are still rumored to be hiring a female AGM.

Doerrie has the potential to be a future GM in the NHL.

Again, exceptional hire!

Is she the right person for the job. That’s what matters. A lot of accomplishments early in age by the sounds of things. Congrats to her! Hard work pays off

The fact that another NHL team has already recognized her talent means yes she is.

JR wants to create an entire analytics team in the organization. She will be one of a multiple hires for that department.

It truly sounds like it.

Not a hire for the sake of it or PR move.
