Provost
Reported. Waiting to be confirmed That would be a kick in the junk if it was Spencer after doing well in his first shot in 5 years. https://theprovince.com/sports/hockey/nhl/vancouver-canucks/canucks-may-be-dealing-with-another-goalie-covid-case?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR1T58FzgXxXI5BlyCRCO6Avz0UJJfbqunQjb_Q9JuzaI8tndZ2ihDYb8UQ#Echobox=1642912413 EDIT: Confirmed to be Spencer Martin who is out, as well as Silovs. That means we have four goalies in protocol... kind of hilariously Canuck's like.https://twitter.com/BatchHockey/status/1485320318956703744?s=20 Edited January 23, 2022 by Provost 1

I think he has different rules about isolating before coming back across the border, although I can't remember what they are.
Googlie
From "Briefing" "Sources report that either Spencer Martin or Mike DiPietro — the two goalies currently on the NHL roster — may have tested positive Saturday morning. The Canucks already have regular goalies Thatcher Demko and Jaroslav Halák on the COVID-19 protocol list and neither will be available until Tuesday at the earliest." He should have just let them play regardless of the stupid pho 50% capacity for the runny nose rona I blame Aquilini for a lot of stuff, but no way he has the power to make decisions like that. it would be a discussion primarily between the league and the public health folks… the two Governors involved would get their say but no way would they get to drive the decision. The NHL is very centralized with their power and any pushed games impact their entire schedule.

Garland and halak are foreign so they need to wait 15 days since positive test to enter the country. Bo pretty much the same although he can enter the country earlier but he would need to do another I guess 5 days isolation. So he might as well stay the 15 days
