He was head scout 2017 forward.  I think they’ve got one NHL player in that span and traded him.

Yep. Not a great drafting record , but that's not all on him.  Hopefully our scouting staff makes up the difference.  We kinda need a more savvy (and intelligent) gm in the trade and contract department at this point , so might be a good fit overall .

JR with a slight of hand, magically brought over his old crew from Pittsburgh.  All the fake interviews, were just a cover to bring over his old crew, from Pitsburgh - touching, for making everyone, think he was doing an exhaustive search for a candidate.

So Allvin for GM. I am curious to hear who the other AGM will be.

I guess I’m not overly excited about this hiring. 

 

Kind of expected that Allvin would be hired as GM. Why did they have to go through this whole process, if JR wanted Allvin all along? 

 

I’m not surprised either that he went to Pitts to pry Allvin away from Pittsburgh. I preferred Darche. He’s been with a winning culture, and organization on how to draft, and develop. What’s not to like with Darche?
