Popular Post DeNiro
Pettersson, Hoglander Miller, Boeser Podz, Motte Cycle those three forward groups. No need for anyone else to be out. Lammiko, Highmore, and Dickinson have no business being out in OT. We’re not defending in overtime. First decision Boudreau has made that has made me pull my hair out. 2 4
Popular Post Mathew Barzal
If Boudreau ends up being a plug lover this honeymoon phase is about to end. Those line choices in OT were borderline sabotage. Trade Hoglander if you aren’t going to give him the respect he deserves as one of the team’s top offensive threats. 4

Martin got us a couple points in what could have easily been 3 straight games with no points. No need to read into this game too much. Demko allows us to easily cruise to a win in this game. I dunno man Martin played incredibly I dunno if Hasek would have won us that game.

I've been on the Miller train for months I'm fine retaining Motte at the right price, depends on what he wants because things could be very tight this offseason
BPA
Why not have Hogz in OT? Isn’t he speedy? Should be good with all the open ice.

First goal was an absolute killer that gave the Oilers all the life they needed. Demko shuts that game down and cruises to a 3-1 win. That was after 46 shots for the Oilers, one soft goal, one garbage penalty kill, and one absolutely worthless power play. That wasn't pretty by Myers but hardly a "turning point". 1

Hogz is our best skating offensive forward and we never use him in OT. Hogs can skate miles on the open ice.

Nux should get a significant upgrade in lineup next game. But I still think Bo is crucial given the depth on this team.
Sedintwinpowersactivate
Couldn’t win any board battles. Spencer was amazing except that 1st goal. Unfortunately that’s what got the Coilers going. 1

No it was the first goal on Martin. There is a reason he hasn’t been in the nhl in a few years. He’s played great but he is what he is.
