Mafia: The Shadows of Beasts

 

As the day darkens, a low-lying fog starts rolling in near Mount Currie. Which is ordinary. Seasons are changing and the nights have been approaching quicker these days. The leaves are spinning whirlwinds of orange and red as the air gets crisper, colder, and cruel.

“Close the gates!” yelled the Gate Lord; “The night comes!”

A crow squawked in the distance as to mimic the Gate Lord.

The gate closure has never had much meaning till late. There have been strange sightings been spoke of.

The Villagers talk of rumors. Tales of giant silhouette beasts standing on their hind paws, screaming upward to the moonlit sky. And those strange howls, they echo throughout the land.

To what have been only rumors in Mount Currie, outland travelers have uttered scary tales of death and despair. The travelers are shaken and scared. They are coming to Mount Currie to find a protection.

Why here?

They talk of brutal slayings and half devoured corpses found in alleyways and near riverbanks all over the realm of the Lower Mainland. News that the outer villages like Fort Lytton, Abbotts Fort and New West have all sealed their gates and have not allowed any new travelers into their borders at night. Visitors have been asked to leave the villages before nightfall. It has been said that these slayings are making their way here, to Mount Currie. Our small village that lays deep in the mountains of Columbia. But I fear they may have already crept into our Village or have at least come to our territory. There strange bellowing howls during night.

Several villagers all over the realm, spread rumors that these Beasts may have even originated from our village, from our land. And that they may have been born here.

 

I am scared.

 

 

Gameplay:

This will be a closed setup game intended for 12-15 people (more are welcomed though).

I would like to make my first game hosting session a simple one. Just to get used to hosting, should I like it. PRAY I DON'T MELVIN THIS lol.

 

Round Layout:

The 1st Round of the game will last 48 hours, then drop to 24 hour cycles upon the start of Round 2 and onwards. Rounds will close at 10:00PM Pacific Time and begin again upon the host's announcement after nightfall. All actions must be submitted before nightfall deadline please. If you are late, there will be no kill, save or seen.

 

Game Setup:

3 - Beasts - Choose one player to savagely devour each round.

1 - Angel - Choose one player to save from being devoured. Angel can save themself alternating rounds. You cannot save a Villager more than once. 

1 - Seer - Choose one player to see their affiliation

Remainder Villagers - Choose one player to lynch as suspected Beast.

There is No PMing unless you are in the Beast PM or you are PMing me, Enjoy, Do not take insults personal(OMGUS), You can fake claim if you dare, No round extensions. No edits and please use the Vote UnVote _________ system

Btw, that would be a decent flavour to base a game around. Covid doctor(first aid kit), Covid deniers(maf), double vaccinated(town), Dr. Bonnie Henry(Sheriff), etc
