Edmonton wins, Dallas and Winnipeg have a three point game with Dallas winning

Anaheim loses. Only outcome that mattered IMO.

I don’t see us taking a wildcard spot. The central will take both.

Its 3rd or bust for us. The two teams we gotta reel in are Anaheim and LA. I don’t see either Edmonton or San Jose taking that spot.

Win tomorrow and we’re 5 back of the Ducks with the same amount of games played. Still a tough climb but not nearly as daunting.

Yeah, I don't see us getting a wildcard spot. But it's still interesting to track.

I wouldn't write Edmonton off, they've got as good a chance as we do honestly. And they're a team I could actually see trying to add, I don't see us more likely to be sellers. Same goes for Anaheim, I could maybe see them adding. I think LA stays the course though as I strongly doubt they view themselves as more than a maybe playoff team at this point. Hard to say.

Big if, no Hughes and the Leafs will be fussy after losing the other night. We'll see.

I'm not convinced we'll reel in Anaheim or LA, LA in particular. They've got three more games against each other.

LA's actually got a pretty soft schedule going forward, with three games against Arizona remaining, one against the Isles, three against Seattle, one against Buffalo, and three against Chicago. These are all games they should win given how they've played this season, but we'll see. Then you can throw in a bunch of divisional games in there, where teams chasing each other will be taking points off each other.

Anaheim's definitely got a tougher schedule for the remainder of the season, they don't have many gimme games at all. Most of the teams they'll be playing are jockeying for the playoffs themselves, but we'll see? If they can hold onto their spot until playoff time they'll actually be in a pretty good spot, having essentially had to play playoff hockey down the stretch just to make it.

Why do the Islanders always destroy us then proceed to completely s*** the bed in Alberta every single year?

Flames are the hottest team in the league right now.

The Oilers were bouncing back from a 2 game skid and just fired their coach so they could play hard the next bit like we did with Boudreau.
