Podz had a good game yesterday, doubt he and Lammy are scratches

Agree. Think Podz is losing a bit of confidence though, seemed a bit hesitant and also a bit wobbly on his skates yesterday. Had a few good plays, a good scrap and a nice assist though so hopefully that helps. Hogs also needs a some puck luck to gain a little bit more confidence.

OEL puts up another 3 points and shows everyone how good he is when he's not tasked with being a shutdown guy.

Sure easy to get an assist just leaving the puck behind the net for Miller...primary one too!   OEL has had enough great games (Myers too actually), that he didn't get on the scoreboard so this makes up for that a little.   But he's no QHs with the puck either.

Canucks get another chance to get two games above .500...time to put the after burners on.   I personally want to see playoffs this year.    Who the heck would want to play us if we manage that!   Want to beat Vegas.   Demko screwing with those ugly mofo's would be great.   Stone.  Patches.   And now Eichel!   Must be the ugliest hockey team since the 70's.    Notice anything similar between Eichel and this guy other then his build?the goonies sloth GIF

I notched about 50 assists second year bantams when I got to play with my buddy who got drafted by the Red Wings a few years later. It was by far my most productive year in any league or level of hockey.

I found the Motte - Lammikko - Chiasson line to be really lacking Matthew Highmore yesterday.  I know that Boudreau did a bit of shuffling of his lines in the 2nd and 3rd periods but Highmore's absense was noticeable from our third fourth line.

I'm really liking the emergence of players in their mid 20s on our team.  Highmore, Lammikko, Juulsen, and Spencer Martin are all guys that should be re-signed.  I know that it will make for a boring off-season, but we don't need to worry about attracting free agents this summer to fill some of the depth spots.  We can focus on targeting two players: 3rd line right handed center, and a top 4 d-man.

We might be looking at a roster next year where we only have one forward that's 30, and the rest are all in their 20s.  Burroughs and Juulsen would bring in some much needed youth on our blueline, but the age on the backend won't worry me for another couple of years as they mature later and play much longer then forwards.

Late start for this game.  By the time they are on the ice, it will be 7:45 and being a nationally televised (in US)

double header, our game may start even later than that (depending on what happens in the 1st game).

This game could potentially start around 8pm, which would be 11pm for the Isles.  This will also be the Islanders 1st game back from the break.

Advantage: Nucks

And all the armchair GMs lose their minds!! :frantic:

He was always going to play 10 games.

Demko needs his rest and even if you wanted to trade him he has a NTC and teams are waiting till the deadline to make moves anyways.
