Petey is at a point per game now. Just where he’s always been. Let’s see if he can push that up for the remainder of the season.  If he can get 70 points this year than that would be a huge success.

I think Petey getting 50 pts would be a great success considering where he was 2 months ago. Asking for 70 points is asking him to average 1.5pts/game or at a 120pt pace.. let's not go crazy considering even with his 10 pts in 10 games he is still sitting at 0.5 pts/game for the season.

Ok I just have to point out. I love Schenn and what he brings to our team, but has anyone else noticed he isn't exactly chippy? I mean he is hardly in any scrums and I can't remember the last time he dropped the mitts. Maybe he is really just picking his spots but he isn't giving off that "tough guy" vibe anymore.

January 25th vs Winnipeg, he fought Lowry after he took a run at Hughes. That was only 15 day (5 games) ago

Are we gonna see full capacity allowed pretty soon? end of the month? I keep hearing they will lift all the restrictions sooner than expected including mask mandate... I honestly think it's pointless to limit it to 50% as the virus will spread for a long long time anyway.. ppl either spread it in stadiums or restaurants or stores... they stopped testing people so why bother keeping the meaningless restrictions? Let the virus do its natural course and get the economy going!!

If he continues at a point per game he would hit 60 points.  70 points may be aggressive, but I'm hoping he hits 60+...

I can, the first game on our last road trip against the Jets.( Jan 27th) . Adam Lowry hit Hughes, and Schenn gave him a free knuckle sandwich.

I believe they review the rules on February 18th?

If things continue to trend in the right direction I imagine we would see the easing of capacity limits.

What?  Guys that are actually tough, like Luke, don't have to give out 'vibes'.

Look at that face.  You wanna punch it?  You'd hurt your hand.

Luke is there every shift.  Constable On Patrol.

BOY OH, BO!

Bo Horvat (1-1-2) recorded his 71st career multi-point game on Feb. 8 vs ARI. Since his NHL debut in 2014-15, Horvat leads the Canucks in multi-point outings, with the next closest player being Daniel Sedin (52 GP).

BANG, BANG, BANG

On Feb. 8 vs ARI, Conor Garland, Bo Horvat and Elias Pettersson each scored in a span of 142 seconds. The last time the Canucks tallied a trio of goals in a lesser span was on Jan. 13, 2019 (126 seconds from Brock Boeser, Jay Beagle & Markus Granlund).

STINGY DEFENCE

Since Bruce Boudreau officially took over as Head Coach on Dec. 6 vs LAK, the Canucks have led the NHL in fewest goals against per game (2.05), jumping the ranks from 23rd in the NHL in GA/GP (3.16) before Boudreau to seventh place on the season overall (2.64).

HIT MACHINE

Luke Schenn tied a Canucks franchise record in hits (12) on Jan. 31 at CHI, previously set by himself on Mar. 24/19 vs CBJ. His 12 hits were the highest single-game total by any skater in the NHL so far this season.

Logging 31:07 in time on ice on Jan. 29 at CGY, Quinn Hughes set both a Canucks season-high and a personal career-high in the category. Hughes has led the Canucks in TOI in 28 of 46 games so far this season, with the next closest player (Myers) leading in 10 games.

HATS OFF TO MILLER

J.T. Miller recorded his second career hat trick on Jan. 27 vs WPG, matching career-highs in goals (3) and points (4). He became just the third American player in team history to register a hat trick, joining Ryan Kesler (3x) and teammate Brock Boeser (3x).

His rookie year he was sitting ontop of the leaderboard for PGP for awhile at the start...don't think it would shock anyone that much to do it again ... well maybe.   But in a good way.

I’ve definitely seen him scrum it up and push guys around who get close to the crease. He hasn’t had to fight that much. He doesn’t have to if guys back away when he snarls at em. Intimidation is still intimidation, no matter the tactics you use.

I'd be down for that.

Just seems to me we've been wasting OEL's offensive capabilities, and I'm a fan of running two D on the powerplay. If they want to get more offense from him (and they likely do) they should either play them together or divide the powerplay time more evenly between the two units. OEL, as many of us know, has a great track record of producing offense and his drop off is likely more due to deployment and the lack of premium offensive minutes than anything else.

The one thing OEL has always had a knack for is getting those shots thru traffic. Quinn is still learning how to do that. To have 2 top end dmen making plays at the blue line is actually a really good idea, I like it! Plus gives some PP time to Myers who def deserves some.
