Holy crap look at the size difference! Love his chippyness. Schenn can’t be the only one out there doing it. Icing on the cake that he got the fans roaring after. Great to see life in rogers arena again.

Only guy i've ever seen get players out of their seats aside from a good old fashioned donnybrook is Bure.    Gino got them out of their seats a lot.   Why his name was chanted.   Burroughs is a little pitbull...

Much tougher task tonight, and back to back to boot....don't have a good feeling about this ...especially if they start off like they did against the yotes....but who knows....they need another complete game .and with out Hughesy....so maybe some luck and bounces... 1 win down 24 to go.... CGC...:towel:

The one thing OEL has always had a knack for is getting those shots thru traffic. Quinn is still learning how to do that. To have 2 top end dmen making plays at the blue line is actually a really good idea, I like it! Plus gives some PP time to Myers who def deserves some.

Miller on the left which he seems to like anyways

Petey on the right for his one-timers

Bo or Boeser in the middle for tips

Hughes and OEL at the points

TNT (Turner Sports).

Isn’t it true there will be close to 10x the viewers in BC watching on TV than the viewers watching down south on TNT?  That’s likely why the league allows the US networks (TNT, ESPN) to dictate start times.  The league knows Canadian fans will watch anyway.  And they know the few US fans they do have, will tune out unless placated.

Going to the game tonight. Last time I went vs the Isles we were up 3-0 and then allowed 7 straight 3rd period goals. I think that was 2012 or 2013

Hopefully that’s not the result tonight…

My goodness. And you look at the goal scorers, most haven’t even cracked 5+ goals that late in the season. Was one of the worst 3rd periods I’ve probably ever seen in hockey.

And Hughes can wheel just as well as any of our forwards anyway, he's like having a hybrid up front

Having OEL out there may result in more tips or rebounds

OEL puts up another 3 points and shows everyone how good he is when he's not tasked with being a shutdown guy.

Play him with Hughes then imo, 7m+ for a D man they need to contribute at both ends of the ice. Glad OEL had 3 pts against his old team, let's hope that sparks many more points before the season ends!

Would be an insanely dangerous pair together, only problem is which of the two you get to play on the right side. Neither one probably as good if they are playing on their off side.

Would be great to see us get a shutdown guy to play with OEL, since Schenn and Hughes have great chemistry. Then we've got two incredibly dangerous defender pairs without being a liability defensively.

Not a chance I make it through the 3rd.

5am comes quick.

Stupid TSN or whatever stupid reason for the stupid late stupid start time.

Oh, and Go Nucks.

On the bright side, we’re not Islanders fans tuning it at nearly 11 pm EST to watch the start of the game.

His rookie year he was sitting ontop of the leaderboard for PGP for awhile at the start...don't think it would shock anyone that much to do it again ... well maybe.   But in a good way.

Oh I know. And I hope he gets back to that pace at some point. Maybe next season. I was just saying that asking him to go from a 0.5 pt pace (which he is barely doing) and running at a 1.5 pt pace for the rest of the season is a bit ridiculous
