You sir, are a champ. Thank you for the quality GDT.

Well, that's a bit over the top imo, but thank you, and credit the mods for all their help and patience.

It was weird when yesterday's GDT came up a day early, and by a poster I had on "Ignore".

Lately, I've just been looking to see if it is up and if not, trying not to step on anyone's toes.

There are a lot of great people here (Note to Pretenders: You Cannot Be A Great Person If You Are Not A Canuck Fan, Preferably A Canucks Homer!!).

Syrianly however, this place is the best.

I learn more about other players on other teams (Note to Pretenders: Do Not Peacock Other Team's Players and Prospects; Only the Facts, Not the Feathers).

I ask all of you out there:  Is there any better source of all the up-to-date and well-moderated-so-the-trolls-slime-away than the TRUE CANUCK DOT COM FAN FORUM?

(Note to Pretenders: This is not an invitation for you to spew all your Negative Nancy Bee Ess; BONUS NOTE to LURKING REPORTERS: You Know You're Milking CDC for Content, ID Yourselves and Go With The Flow Joe, You Will Be A Better Reporter For IT!).

GO CANUCKS GO!

(And, nobody else!)

This isn’t good.  I see a .840 save night.  Hopefully their goalie is equally as bad.  Should be lots of goals.

This can’t be a game that you take the over, surely, the rate at which these two teams score goals. A bold call on your part!

On the bright side, we’re not Islanders fans tuning it at nearly 11 pm EST to watch the start of the game.

Man I love living in the west for watching hockey. One game on while making dinner, eat, nap, then tune in for the second game. Lol.

Since his contract is only for this season, I doubt the bonus plays too much of an impact in the team's plans.

His 1.25m bonus for playing the 10th game kicks in as soon as that space is available, which will be the beginning of next season, unless JR unloads some roster players before the trade deadline

I think people are seeing now that many of the things they didn't like about Green are consistent with, pretty much, every coach out there.  All coaches play favourites, all coaches have players they put in the doghouse for no reason and keep in there regardless of performance.  It appears that NH might be that player for BB

Bruce likes Hogs just fine, he's trying to get through to him regarding his stick discipline and taking stupid penalties 200 feet from his own net.  The Canucks PK is not great, and they're not scoring enough most games to give up free goals because of stupid, careless penalties.  Bruce has been trying to send a message through ice time to both Hogs and Pods.  For Hogs it's discipline and keeping his head in the game in his own end.  For Pods, I'm sure he wants him to be more dynamic, use his size and strength, and be harder on the boards, which will make more room for guys like Petey.  Both are young players, who NEED coaching.  Neither of them came into the league as fully formed players.  If you say something to a player and he disregards you and makes the same mistake, then all you have left is to give him a seat on the bench to think about what he did.  Nobody learns a lesson if there are no repercussions for continued wrong behavior.  That said, I thought that line was terrific last night, each player played their role, and they ended up with a beautiful goal.

Would be an insanely dangerous pair together, only problem is which of the two you get to play on the right side. Neither one probably as good if they are playing on their off side.

Would be great to see us get a shutdown guy to play with OEL, since Schenn and Hughes have great chemistry. Then we've got two incredibly dangerous defender pairs without being a liability defensively.

I would put Hughes on the right side do to his mobility

It's based on this guy and the cap going up one million.

Halak and Holtby combine for about the same as Luongo or maybe a bit less. How many years will that be consecutive of us paying a G not on the team...too many!!!

Halak also has a 250,000 bonus if his save percentage ends up higher than 0.905.  His current save percentage is a pretty solid 0.918.  Thus, the likely hit will be 1.50
