You are basically saying that Albertans should all move to the US.  Leave that part of the country barren of all life?  That's not how it works.  Peoples entire livelihoods are in that region.  Ukraine is a very split political nation with many extremists on both ends.  It might be one of if not the most divided country in this current day an age.

Only the baby whiners, who refuse to accept the results of a democratically elected government.  That's very few Canadians and very few people in Eastern Ukraine.  Those people can leave.  The ones in Eastern Ukraine it would be easy.  Just go.  Lots of people move if they aren't happy in their country.  They move for what they feel is better opportunity elsewhere.  Just go.  Get out.  Don't be baby whiner cowards.

With Russia now threatening nuclear war if anyone tries to step in .. even is only as a shield

With Russia saying any country imposing any sanctions is equivalent to a declaration of war

With Russia saying Ukraine statehood is in jeperody ..... meaning as a country its gone

My gut says ban all Russian only citizens ..... but the realist says if any of them speaks out their families would be in grave danger

There is one player atleast who campaigned for Putin and should not be playing until he makes it clear that he bo longer supports him

Ban Japanese players for Pearl Habour?

Come on man.  Not all Germans were Nazis.  Not all Russians are for Putin's war.

Right after Pearl Habour America rounded up ALL American Japanese and put them in camps in Alaska. Those American Japanese lost everything they had in the US their homes etc.
Not til after the War ended where those American Japanese released and they didn’t get any of there belongings back.

So Banning all Russian players from playing in North America isn’t to far fetched.

So, because a mistake was done in the past, it's okay to do the same today?

I think part of the difference is that because it’s in Europe it’s not close enough to home for people to care.

Donbass and Luhansk were the same situation as Georgia - there were some pro Russian, but supported by an illegal operation by Russia.

In Europe we have seen this before and though that it wouldn’t happen on our continent again. Yes we have double standards here but the difference is this is our backyard our homes and our families in Europe this is happening to

If you don't trust wikipedia feel free to do a quick google search and you can see the civil war going on between Ukraine and its Donbas state.  While there has been influence from Russia, this is still Ukrainians fighting Ukrainians.

Who started that again? From that article:

"armed Russian-backed separatist groups seized government buildings throughout the Donbas, leading to armed conflict with the Ukrainian government forces.[31]

While the initial protests were largely native expressions of discontent with the new Ukrainian government, Russia took advantage of them to launch a coordinated political and military campaign against Ukraine.[32] Russian citizens led the separatist movement in Donetsk from April until August 2014, and were supported by volunteers and materiel from Russia.[33][34][35] As the conflict escalated in May 2014, Russia employed a "hybrid approach", deploying a combination of disinformation, irregular fighters, regular Russian troops, and conventional military support to destabilize the Donbas"

And please enlighten us all on where in this article it says anything about "The Ukrainian government has been killing its own citizens".   Other than the ones that take Russian money and equipment, and fire on Ukraine's military, and chose to be traitors to the democratically elected government of the country they live in.

Let me guess, if the US decides that the northern part of BCs coast that they stole from us for a pittance, is not enough, and they decide to take the southern coast as well, as long as they find a group of US born property owners in that part of BC, of which there are plenty, many with dual citizenship, and they help the US battle our own armed forces.....you'd be critical of the Canadian and BC governments if they dared to retaliate? And OMG, maybe even hurt or kill an expat American/Canadian citizen living there who takes up arms against our own forces?  I will say something positive, you chose a great user name

So may stupid people who post stuff they either don't read, or can't understand thinking it's evidence supporting their opinion.

You tore that apart nicely.  Well done.  :)
