mll
He's been on a medical leave of absence since late November - in his press release he mentions that he is stepping down to focus on his health and recovery. "Finally, I want to thank everyone who has reached out during my leave of absence. While I have made great progress over the last several months, I feel it is in the best interest of the organization and myself to step down from my current duties and focus on my health and full recovery. I look forward to continuing my career in the NHL in the future." 1 1

Goal:thecup
Was a great player; not so much as a GM, imo.
Ilya Mikheyev
He was an elite player and built contending teams - and in neither instance has a won a Stanley Cup, which is wild to me.

I had forgotten his achievements, truly an ‘All Star’ despite the last few seasons. For all the ‘show me what ya got now’ dissuaders, what a career. I don’t know what his health issues are but he is a winner and I wish him all the best.

DrJockitch
Hope he is okay. What a mess of contracts he is leaving behind. 1
Fanuck
Sad fact, Canucks could've drafted Wilson, instead we got Jere Gillis. No offense to Jere.
Coconuts
End of an era, Sharks have consistently been competitive for the longest time and he's been a big part of that. Not so much the last few seasons, but hey. They've had a solid run.
