Respect to Getzlaf.

He could have easily pulled a Perry and chased a cup with a contender. He wants to end his career as a Duck on home ice though.

That kind of loyalty is becoming rarer and rarer in the NHL.

Dunno, Perry leaving was also a Ducks decision. They bought him out after all. If they hadn't there's a good chance he'd still be there.

Timo Meier before facing Vegas today: “Every game we want to win, but tomorrow is definitely a special one against these guys, who we have some history against. So yeah, we’re definitely excited to play against them tomorrow, and we’re going bring our best." Their "best" means getting outshot 2 to 1 - what a sad effort.

Scored the tying goal with 2 seconds left.

Well there's no reason for him to chase for a cup since he already has one

Lol Knights choke! Knights choke!

San Jose with the dagger on the Knights. Losing that one point actually screwed their chances! One second left is all they needed!

Now the Preds only need to get one win and the Stars only need 2 wins against the Coyotes and Ducks.

The refs actually gave them a powerplay in OT, that’s what made it so much sweeter!

Bettman running out after San Jose scores in the shootout:

with that sharks win, the canucks are still mathematically in it.

canucks need to go 3-0-0

dallas needs to go 0-3-0

vegas needs to go 1-2-0 (with the win coming against dallas, in regulation)

Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think we have the tie breaker against Vegas.

I think they would need to go 1-2 leaving them with 92 points.
