JT Miller -- Where do you think he will end up?

If the team can sign Miller for less then 8 and for five years i will start bowing now.    Unless that includes a full NMC and we about to start this rodeo all over again, but this time instead of a final appearance just one playoff round lol.   Miller gets his air time because he's earned it.   I'm ok with whatever they big brains decide needs to be done.   And will cheer for the team regardless.   There are a ton of great ideas floating around.   Funny thing ... it rarely goes like anyone thinks either.     Maybe that will start changing with Allvin.    Sure didn't with JB.

I think full NMC is inevitable. And if you're JT and willing to do something a bit team friendly then I'm fine with it, he would want the security of knowing his girls won't have to pick up and move right away. Thats fair in my mind.

For sure.   I don't think it affects things the same way it did back when our team was on the edge of greatness like it was back then with MG either.    That team was already very good.   As soon as we signed Luongo things changed.   Amazing goalie and deserves the HHOF. Too bad the Sedins didn't peak earlier but it happens ... if they did then we'd have been a powerhouse.   Was mostly cracking a joke.   One guy like Miller is totally fine.

I think he’s gone. 

 

Interesting what Kesler had to say on radio the other day about the players back on the 2011 roster taking less than market value, to have the best chance at winning it all. They didn’t, but they’re still very much compensated very well. If there was one player who would set the example for the rest of the team to take less, so that they can add additional pieces to give themselves the best chance to win, it would be Bo, not JT. 

 

I’d be surprised if Miller gave the Canucks a discount, so as to maneuver more moves for the team. Not for his last pay day, no way. 

 

I think if we don’t hear a deal for Miller leading up to the draft, he’s as good as gone.
