Othmann or Kravtsov, Schnieder, 2022 1rst and 2023 2nd rounder for JT Miller If they do that I’d accept. If they don’t like it I don’t care I’ll keep Miller. Provost Posted May 13, 2022 Share Posted May 13, 2022 Of course that would be pretty dandy on our end. I have no idea why the Rangers would do it. They have to consider cap implications coming up with a bunch of guys they need to re-sign. I think we would honestly be more likely to trade them a cost controlled points producer like Garland plus Hoglander and Rathbone in exchange for a guy like K'Andre Miller and Chytil, guys who may just be unaffordable for them and end up as a casualty of having to give bigger names raises. Maybe Rathbone can become a cheap complement for a guy like Trouba which seems a way better fit than on our roster as a 3rd pairing guy. There are reports they were heavy into Miller though, so maybe the plan was to have enough money move our way to make it work on their end.
