Shesterkin and Marky are the top two. Shesterkin was better, but Marky had a far heavier workload. Close probably, but I think Shesterkin's dominance will get him the award.

i'd be surprised if it's not shesterkin. i don't watch that much rangers hockey, but his stats were head and shoulders above the rest. Only exception is the number of shutouts, but even in that category he wasn't far behind marky.

Sorry to derail the convo but the Rangers could sure use that 'vezina' calibre goaltending right about now - he's going to have to steal them a game or two if they have any hope of staying in it. 

 

I thought Marky was going to have a dip in performance without Clark guiding him but he proved me wrong - he might be better now than he was with us.

 

Smashville keeps finding these great goaltenders - Saros is a 4th round gem!

Good for Markstrom to be a finalist (makes letting him go that much worse though), but Shesterkin surely wins.

Right, I completely forgot about Askarov - he's supposed to be a blue-chip prospect as well.

Easily Shesterkin, he had the best goalie year since Price in 2015. This should be a landslide win.

If you look at almost every post in this thread, there is no eastern bias with this one.
