Pulling for Shesterkin. Matthews and McDavid are amazing talents, but I find it impossible to like them. They both rub me the wrong way (metaphorically speaking).

I think Matthews actually wins it this year. McDavid might be the better player though. Josi would've been a very good option too.

Seeing Shesterkin nominated for both the Hart and Vezina is giving me ptsd to when Lu was nominated for both and got ROBBED for each.

Shesterkin will get the Vezina. Best goalie season since Price in 2015. It's the easiest trophy to vote for this season.

Depends if you're giving the award for the best player or most valuable to his team.  I'd agree that Matthews had the better year but he probably still had a lesser impact on Toronto's success.  I'd agree that Josi would be a better pick although I'm happy to see a goalie as a finalist.

Gotta feel kind of bad for Huberdeau. A 115 pts, 85 assist season just doesn't get you the respect it once did.

Gaudreau should have been a finalist. He had the most even strength points since 

Jagr and the highest plus/minus since Gretzky.

This is unbelievable. As much as I hate Gaudreau, he deserves to be one of the finalist. For me, the 3 should be Huberdeau, Gaudreau and Shesterkin. With HM to Matthews and Mcdavid. Although Leafs fans may claim their record was worse without AM in the lineup, you can say that more about the aforementioned 3.
