Based on what? Do you have evidence to support your claim?

Big Leon is awful off the puck, when his team isn’t in possession.  Not as bad as McDavid, but close.

What % of Leon’s time on ice do you think he has the puck?

What % do the Oilers have the puck in the Ozone while he’s on the ice?

I'm not sure? Do you have those numbers so we can find out?

I’ll give you a hint.  The game is played (by far) more without the puck, than with it.  Drai is great with the puck, and when his team has it, especially in the attacking zone.  But for the vast majority of the game, when he doesn’t have it (and it’s free or the other team has it) he’s not very good.

The Avs, much like the Kings, will expose Draisatl’s very poor play when the Oilers don’t have the puck.

Do you know of comparables? Are you referring to CORSI or a different stat? I have no knowledge of what stat you're referring to, so it's almost impossible to give any sort of educated guess.

Yeah, Toews will be tougher for him to deal with than what he has so far. I think the deciding factor could be if either netminder gets hot.

Yup, he's also got to deal with a legit D with speed in Makar. While Smith has been good this postseason he is 40 years and can falter at any time.

Avs have better forwards defense and goalie.

Oilers also will have no answer for Makar on the backend.

He's not a Canuck that's the only evidence we need :bigblush:

It's the same case for Nylander, Ehlers, Morgan Reilly, Cale Makar etc. etc.

The Oilers are finally facing a decent playoff team. Mac head to head against McDavid is going to be interesting, but I think the Avs defence jumping up is going to be far too much for Edmonton's defence to handle.

Going to be a high scoring series which Colorado win easily in 6.
