It’s one thing to hate him when we play against him. Maybe even just because he plays for one of our geographical rivals. So you don’t cheer for him at all in the playoffs.

 

 But man… one of the most disappointing things is having not to be able to watch him (and Mackinnon, and other stars) play for Canada in the last two Olympics. As it is Mc and Mac may already have their best years behind them by the time they can suit up for Canada. We’d have mopped the ice with them in the lineup if we’d played with them this year in Beijing. Would’ve been so fun to watch

If he started playing like a man and stopped diving, throwing tantrums, and refusing to backcheck, I'd have a little of respect for him.  Great player but serious character issues that he doesn't seem to be growing out of.  At some point, we have to come to conclusion that he's just a gutless coward and isn't going to stop disgracing the sport with his diving.
